The account executive role for the Southeastern United States is a hunter role working directly with customers and partners across Fire, EMS and Office of Emergency Management agencies. Your focus will be prospecting and driving new business in your territory. You will receive significant support internally from Sales, Marketing and Product teams in a collaborative fast paced start-up environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospect and develop new relationships with public safety professionals and partners.
  • Build & maintain a high-performance sale pipeline, manage efficient & professional sales cycles and close contracts.
  • Lead discovery with agencies on their needs and present innovative new strategies to transform pre-incident planning, mobile response and community engagement into thriving components of their organization.
  • Travel to customer sites and attend trade shows.
  • Foster a professional sales culture of mutual benefit to both First Due and the customer.
  • Maintain current understanding of public safety industry including software ecosystem, trends, performance indicators, competitive landscape and business practices.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
  • 3+ years of Public Safety software experience (preferably in Fire or Emergency Management).
  • Strong organization & communication skills with both customers and internal teams.
  • 3+ years of solution selling, presenting to large customer groups and negotiation.
  • Ability to lead, collaborate, and work autonomously in a fast-paced start-up team environment with a positive attitude.
  • Collaborative approach to working with marketing, product and customer success teams.

Sales Development Representative - New York City

As a Sales Development Representative, you're on the front lines of generating new revenue by building new opportunities and expanding the pipeline for First Due's sales team. You'll be the very first person a Fire Chief, Emergency Manager, Police Chief or other City Official will meet through their journey to enable their crews with First Due's technology for when disaster strikes.

Your Role as a First Due SDR Means:
  • Creating qualified leads by outbound prospecting potential customers and converting incoming customer qualified opportunities for First Due's Sales Team.
  • Working in a growing team-based environment with Sales Personnel in New York and around the United States.
  • Developing relationships and build trust through value with Fire Chiefs, Emergency Managers, Police Chiefs and City / State Government Officials.
  • Creating and executing on strategic widespread Sales Development Campaigns using robust workflows.

Junior Financial Controller - New York CIty

As a Junior Financial Controller you will be responsible for the company’s day to day financial activities. Your role combines aspects from financial accounting and managerial accounting. You will report to the COO.

Your Role:
  • Performing day to day bookkeeping in accordance with generally-accepted accounting principles
  • Analyzing and preparing financial statements, including profit-and-loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements and statements of financial position
  • Financial analysis to support business decisions

Your focus will be centered around front and back-end development utilizing PHP, CSS, HTML and JavaScript in order to build new features, bug fixes, and oversee Pull Requests of specific modules.
