First Due Acquires Data Chief

First Due, known to fire and emergency response agencies across the US for developing premier next-generation pre-incident planning, mobile response and community risk reduction software for first responders, announced today the acquisition of Data Chief and the appointment of Founder Michael Heifetz to the First Due senior team as Director of Client Success.
Founded in 2015 by Bedford Hills, New York Firefighter Michael Heifetz, Data Chief has been working with Fire, Police and EMS agencies to collect the critical information first responders need to know, before the emergency occurs. Combining public records with detailed information from residents, Data Chief has been helping emergency service agencies build detailed preplans on every address.
Data Chief’s mission of aggregating data for Fire Agencies around the New York Metropolitan area, aligns well with that of First Due: Ensure that First Responders and Emergency Response agencies have instant access to critical structural and occupancy data in an actionable format that can help save lives and property during an incident.

In addition to ensuring First Due‘s Community Connect continues to drive Community Risk Reduction, Data Chief Founder & CEO Michael Heifetz will build out a new Client Success practice for First Due customers – meshing his experience with both Firefighting and Technology to ensure First Responders have the training and resources they need to gain the most from First Due’s software.

Fire Agencies working with Data Chief will have the option to transition to First Due and will be able to retain the information they have attained through Data Chief in perpetuity.
